Garmin G1000 Simulator

MSFS2020 Garmin G1000 Quick Reference Guide Posted on December 18, 2020 March 17, 2021 by jpgame Many of us will begin our Microsoft Flight Sim journey (yes it is a journey for some of us:D) using the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit in the Cessna 172 and when I began using it I have to admit to being a little overwhelmed by the options and buttons. In this first video of the tutorial series for Garmin G1000 found in most of the GA aircraft in MSFS 2020 we're looking at the functions of the buttons on PF.

The Frasca Mentor-G1000 (WAAS) is a single engine training device designed for procedures training with actual Garmin G1000 Avionics and represents the characteristics of the class of light single-engine aircraft typically used in general aviation.

While compact in size, The Frasca Mentor-G1000 (WAAS) is a high quality simulator that is capable of training pilots to fly integrated avionics systems such as the glass-panel Garmin G1000 found in Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA).

The RealSimGear G1000 Suite is coupled with a Cirrus Perspective center console to enable ultra realistic Cirrus flight training. The suite includes the G1000 PFD, MFD and Perspective complete center console.

The Perspective center console (GCU Stack) includes:

  • GCU47X ABCDEF keyboard, dedicated HDG, ALT, CRS, FMS knobs and buttons for G1000 operation
  • GFC700 Autopilot panel
  • GMA350 Audio panel
  • Works with X-Plane and P3D and can be configured for MSFS 2020
  • Fully assembled and configured
  • Dedicated HDMI displays
  • Ultra-realistic buttons and knobs
  • Simple USB connection
  • Includes desktop mounts and plate to suit Saitek/Logitech style yoke and throttle system (as shown in photo)
  • The suite can be easily mounted into an existing panel.
  • Easily re-configurable for G1000 style with GMA audio panel

This is the most affordable, highest quality and most realistic Cirrus Perspective simulation system available.
Note: This requires a suitable airplane/software configuration in order to utilize all of the available buttons and knobs. The level of functionality will depend on how the airplane is configured in the simulation software.
