Euler Lab is a powerful suite of tools for numerical math and symbolic algebra (via Maxima).
Hi, I have a online license for 12 weeks as I am taking the course Computer Programming with Matlab. These license does not include Symbolic Toolbox. As you can see, computer programming uses a lot of symbolic variables to really learn to program so I want to ask if there is a way to have this license installed for the term of the course. Euler Math Toolbox (EMT), is a powerful math program combining numerical and symbolic tools (using the computer algebra system Maxima) in one free and open source package. Its idea is similar to Matlab, but the syntax is not exactly compatible.
Excellent graphics output - 2D, 3D, even photo realistic scenes - makes it particularly suitable for anyone who needs to create or present mathematical illustrations.
It's a hugely versatile system with vast scope for expansion, but fortunately you don't have to spend an age mastering every fine detail to see if the program is right for you.
Click File > Open Tutorials or Examples to explore the many sample files bundled with the project.
Select '03 - 3D Graphics', for instance, press Ctrl+End to jump to the end of the document, then Edit > Run Commands in Section. Not only will Euler Math Toolbox plot the function in 3D, it'll also animate it and display the results (press Esc to make it stop).

Transform Math::Symbolic trees Math::Symbolic::Custom::Transformation is a Perl extension to the Math::Symbolic module. You're assumed to be remotely familiar with that module throughout the documentation.
