Sprite is a carbonated drink produced by the Coca Cola Company. It was first introduced in the United States in 1961 and ever since this transparent lemon-lime drink has caught the imagination of the American public.

The 7UP drink uses potassium salt in its ingredients whereas Sprite uses sodium salt.
